Donor Sabbath

Did you know? All major U.S. religions support donation and see it is a final act of kindness. Observed annually in November, Donor Sabbath is a special time to raise awareness through religious communities.

To support your participation, we can provide educational materials and, if available in your area, a trained volunteer speaker who is either a transplant recipient or a donor family member. These personal stories often resonate deeply and help open hearts and minds to the importance of donation.

To ensure that you receive your materials in a timely manner, please fax the Information Request Form, linked below, to our office at: 864-609-5387.

November and December

Resource Material for AME Donor Registration

We are grateful for our partnership with the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church, We Are Sharing Hope SC (SHSC) through the AME Donor Sabbath Initiative. In this program, we join with the greater South Carolina Christian community to spread the word about the importance of organ, eye and tissue donation through donor registration and education. Access to valuable AME Donor Sabbath materials and helpful resources are linked below.

What can YOU make possible?
