Come Join Our Volunteer Family!

Donate Life South Carolina and We Are Sharing Hope SC (SC’s Organ and Tissue Procurement Organization) partner in many activities to promote the SC Donor Registry and to bring awareness about the need for more donors. Currently, all donation/transplantation volunteer activities and events are being coordinated through We Are Sharing Hope SC. We participate in a wide range of events that promote public awareness about organ and tissue donation. We welcome your commitment to help by volunteering your ideas, your talents and your time. Volunteers have the potential to participate in exhibits and literature distribution at health fairs, speaking engagements at meetings and events, as well as media interviews and donation-related testimonials for videos. You will also have the opportunity to become part of our new Speakers Bureau if you so desire. We must work together to increase awareness across the state. You are the backbone of meaningful contact with South Carolina citizens. People need to hear your personal story of sacrifice as a donor family, of success as a transplant recipient or, sadly, of your tragedy as a family who lost a loved one waiting on a life-saving transplant. Most importantly, you will see the benefits of spreading the word about donation throughout South Carolina. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer for some of the many donation and transplantation awareness activities that We Are Sharing Hope SC is currently planning, please call 1.800.462.0755 and someone from We Are Sharing Hope SC will help get you started.
