Donate Life Scholarship Applications for 2009

Annually, Donate Life South Carolina presents two students with a $2500 (each) scholarship to assist with educational expenses.  We are pleased to announce the opening of the scholarship application process for 2009.  Applications must be received by April 17, 2009. 

Please note below descriptions and applications for each scholarship.  All applications become property of Donate Life South Carolina.  Scholarship winners agree to the publication of their name, photo, and award amount on the Donate Life South Carolina website and additional print, radio, and television mediums for public information and public relations purposes.

DONATE LIFE SOUTH CAROLINA SCHOLARSHIP ($2500)
The Donate Life South Carolina Scholarship is available to college, university, graduate school, or medical school students who are pursuing a career related to organ and tissue donation, including careers in medicine, nursing, social work, or other related fields of study.

DR. AND MRS. LAWRENCE F. MCMANUS SCHOLARSHIP ($2500)
This scholarship is named in honor of the founders of Donate Life South Carolina, formerly The Gift of Life Trust Fund, and is available to students who are either living donors, transplant recipients, immediate family members of a donor or recipient, or active volunteers with Donate Life South Carolina.
