Amy K. Stubbs: Annual Golf Tournament

On May 2, 2008, I had the pleasure of representing DLSC at the Amy K. Stubbs Annual Golf Tournament.  This event was made possible through generous supporting sponsorships of Greenville area businesses and was hosted by the members of IIAD a wonderful group of friends and coworkers of Amy’s.

I thoroughly enjoyed all the stories celebrating Amy’s life and how she lived it to the fullest!  Amy’s brother, Kevin Kay, shared the family’s story of hope and anguish while Amy was waiting as a recipient on the South Carolina donor list.

It is people and stories such as these that direct the very foundation of Donate Life South Carolina to focus intently on our mission statement:  To increase the supply of organs and tissue donation and provide assistance for South Carolina transplant recipients. It is our vision that one day an organ or tissue will be available for every South Carolinian in need of a transplant. 

Donate Life South Carolina would like to personally thank all the generous sponsors, golfers who attended, and IIAD for making this day fun and inspiring!  We hope to see you all again next year!
