Board of Directors
As described in Section 44-43-1320 of the SC Code of Laws, the Board of Directors for Donate Life South Carolina are appointed by the Governor with advice and consent of the Senate.

Mark Walker (Chairman) is a kidney transplant recipient and represents the Midlands region of South Carolina. Mark received a BS degree in Business Administration from The Citadel. Mark is employed by SC Department of Transportation and resides in Columbia. As a DLSC Board Member, Mark offers his personal experience, education, and legislative contacts to help promote organ and tissue donation awareness. This is his 2nd term as a board member. William “Woody” Crosby (Vice Chairman) is a liver transplant recipient and represents the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. Woody attended Gaston Community College for Electronic Engineering. Woody is currently the President and CEO for Jordan Properties and resides in Myrtle Beach. As a DLSC Board Member, Woody offers his personal experience, local government and legislative contacts to help promote organ and tissue donation awareness. This is his 1st term as a board member. Pam Farley (Secretary) represents the Low Country region of South Carolina. Pam received a BS degree in Accounting & Management Emphasis from Charleston Southern University. Pam is currently the CFO and Treasurer/Controller for O.L. Thompson Construction Co., Inc., Wando Concrete, LLC., and related companies and resides in Charleston. As a DLSC Board Member, Pam offers her passion and drive to help promote organ and tissue donation awareness. This is her 1st term as a board member. Dr. Joel Sexton is Chief Forensic Pathologist with Newberry Pathology Associates. Dr. Sexton resides in Newberry. Dr. Sexton has been involved with Donate Life (aka Gift of Life Trust Fund) since it’s fruition in 1996. As a DLSC Board Member, Dr. Sexton offers his education, personal and professional experience, and his fervent drive to help promote organ and tissue donation awareness. He has no term limits.
Elizabeth “Lizz” Walker represents the Piedmont/Upstate region of South Carolina. Lizz received a degree in Broadcasting from Briarwood College. Lizz is currently a Media Consultant. She has worked with Charter Communications as a Public Relations Manager and also, worked 20 years as an award winning Television Anchor and Reporter. As a DLSC Board Member and having experienced a friends’ transplant, Lizz offers her personal experience, public service, and dedication to promote organ and tissue donation awareness. Lewis Cooley is a heart transplant recipient and represents the Piedmont/Upstate region of South Carolina. He is retired from Duke Power and resides in Simpsonville. As a DLSC Board Member, Lewis offers his personal experience to help promote organ and tissue donation awareness. This is his 2nd term as a board member.
